Assignment Title: Case Study-Traumatic Brain Injury
What I learned: This assignment taught about brain injury and the bodies’ metabolic response. It taught me how to nutritionally help one who has had a traumatic injury to the brain.
Reflection to assignment: This was definitely a challenging assignment and I felt very confident when giving my presentation because I put a lot of time and effort into researching this disease.
Relevance to the profession: Tube feeding calculations are a very important skill to have when working in a clinical setting. Being educated in disease and how nutrition therapy plays a role is very important as well and one day I may work in a hospital and I will need to know how to respond to situation like my case study.
